TRS Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical Excellence is looking for an experienced Lead Installer to take charge of HVACR installation projects for light commercial and residential customers across Buffalo and surrounding cities, towns and suburbs.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who’s ready to lead installations, mentor others, and take pride in top-quality work.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the Lead Installer on the TRS team, ensuring all HVACR installation jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
  • Perform a variety of HVACR installations independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, coworkers, suppliers, and other team members.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services such as indoor air quality upgrades, component replacements, or system add-ons, and refer customers to our sales team when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and timely job documentation and uphold TRS’s standards for quality and integrity.
What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience installing residential furnaces and air conditioning systems
  • Experience with boilers, generators, heat pumps, and water heaters is a plus
  • Strong verbal, reading, and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Must own basic hand tools and refrigerant gauges
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and under variable conditions (weather, schedules, customer needs)
  • Valid clean NYS driver’s license and insurability under company policy
  • EPA certification preferred (testing assistance available if not certified)
